****VERSION EN ESPAÑOL MAS ABAJO****
Hector was a very special person with a very bright light. His presence was warm and welcoming and immediately made others feel safe and accepted. He was very charismatic – he had a great sense of humor and a wonderful smile, which he shared genuinely.
Hector was very loving, friendly, devoted, and generous. He lived his life in service to his family. In his own words, he described himself as “Born to love. Loving my fellowmen, the dearest of whom, I consider my children and grandchildren.”
He had a great dedication to his family. He was kind, patient, and loving. He could always be found singing or playing with a grandchild, on the phone laughing with one of his children or siblings or preparing a meal for the family.
Hector had a profound faith in, and love for his Heavily Father and our Lord, Jesus Christ. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and was passionate about the gospel. He received immense joy and personal satisfaction carrying out genealogy and temple work.
He showed his love and shared his talents generously. He had a great zest for life, he loved the arts, and he loved being in the company of others. He was a generous host, a great conversationalist and had a ferocious appetite.
Hector passed away peacefully, in his sleep, the morning of Thursday, March 10th. Hector is survived by his ex-wife and mother of his children, Daisy Bratcher, by his 5 children; Ektor, Joyce, Isis, Omar and Isaac, and by his grandchildren; Alexia, Alyssa, Arturo, Luis, Omar, Alfredo, Isis, Isaac, Martina, Leonel, Xavia, Moana, Olivia, and Ezra.
