October 4, 1956-September 7, 2019
Elizabeth was born in Cercado, Cochabamba, Bolivia to Julio Illanes and Berta Illanes. She grew up there and enjoyed traveling, being with family, and loved to play volleyball. She played volleyball through college. She met her future husband, Hiberman Ricaldi Orozo, through a church activity. They have been inseparable ever since. They were married June 15, 1979. Together they raised a beautiful family of 4 daughters and 2 sons. In 2000, Elizabeth and her family came to the United States. They lived in Naples, Florida. She loved Florida very much and enjoyed time at the beach. Elizabeth was an adventurer through and through. She was also a very hard worker. She would do anything for her family, immediate and extended. Elizabeth is best known for her loving and charitable nature. She never hesitated to help those in need, no matter what. She had a special soft spot for animals. She cared for her animals with a heart full of love for each one of them. Elizabeth truly had the biggest heart. In 2013, she moved to Utah. Even though she missed the beach, she loved the new adventure of beautiful mountains, rivers, and snow! She traveled back to Naples and to Bolivia many times. Family was her most precious treasure in life and that was more than evident.
Elizabeth is survived by her Mother: Berta, Sisters: Larisa, Rosario, and Brothers: Nefi and Pepi.
Her husband: Hiberman Ricaldi Orozo, Daughters: Carolina, Silvana, Daniela, and Aleli.
Son: Hiberman Andre.
Her son Lib died at a young age. Her father Julio and brother Teddy are also on the other side of the veil. Without a doubt, now they are all now reunited.
