Es difícil encontrar las palabras correctas para describir la  vida de una mujer que sostuvo generaciones unidas con  la gracia y facilidad de Amparo. Una mujer que siempre  mantuvo el corazón abierto para aquellos quienes   necesitaban amor de madre. Un amor puro y dulce, que muchos que la conocen han sentido sin la necesidad  de haberlo pedido. Hemos escuchado mucho la idea de una  mujer fuerte, se dice fácilmente como apodo a nuestras  madres y abuelas y a todas las mujeres que en nuestras  vidas hemos admirado, pero no hay mujer que le quede  más apropiado que a Amparo. Con su fortaleza y  carácter imprescindible nos enseñó a ser personas  generosas, morales y alegres. Nos enseñó a sentir  gratitud por los momentos breves, y la belleza escondida  en lo silencioso de la tranquilidad. La recordaremos en  nuestros corazones y la mantendremos con nosotros en  nuestras acciones al seguir su ejemplo de paciencia,  amor y firme tenacidad. La podremos sentir y saber que  ese amor que siempre nos tuvo sigue vivo en nuestros  corazones.

It’s difficult to find the words to summarize the life of a  woman who held generations together as effortlessly and  gracefully as Amparo did. A woman who always opened  her heart up to those who needed a mother’s love. A love  that’s sweet and pure, a love that many who know her  have felt without ever needing to ask for it. We hear of  the idea of a strong woman, it’s used easily as a term of  endearment for our mothers, grandmothers and those  women in our lives that we admire most, but there is no  other woman who fits this term as appropriately as  Amparo. Whose strength and steadfast character taught  us to be generous, moral and joyful people. Who taught  us to be endlessly grateful for the brief moments and the  beauty of the hidden treasures found in the peaceful wake  of tranquility. We will remember her in our hearts and will  keep her close in our actions, in following her example of  patience, love and firm tenacity. We will be able to feel her  with us and know that the love she always had for us,  lives on in our hearts.
